GSU Honors The Herndon Legacy

program booklet
April 22, 2015. This semester, the Honors College of Georgia State University offered a course titled, Alonzo F. Herndon (Atlanta Life Founder) and the Business of Civil Rights.

Nineteen students researched historic sites related to Mr. Herndon and Atlanta Life and made a presentation for a final grade in their class.

The presentations were phenomenal and a number of key Atlantans were in attendance as well as Atlanta Life Financial Group’s Interim President, Geoffrey Nnadi, and Atlanta Life Insurance Company’s Head of Marketing, Natisha Webb-Rabb. Herndon’s Legacy continues to live on.

Thank you, GSU, and congratulations to all of the students and the course’s professors, Sarah Cook, Ph.D. and Dr. Karceik Sims-Alvarado.
